[Build Log] CM-88B - Nostromo (Lian Li V3000)
Week (5) All the laser cut parts are fit and finished, mounted on polycarbonate for back-lighting. Intake assembly gets final nylon mounting hardware. Top and bottom trim plates layout (which was changed to the cleaner plaque design) installed RGB. Photo before the X Ae-5 was replaced with the Nu Pro audio card, bottom panel removed. Lower connection 90 was replaced with a T-fitting, valve, and a pass-through fitting for an easy drain of the lower radiator.
Final on plumbing, pumps are completely isolated from chassis via ZMT. Inline AQ flow meter installation design was an attempt to mitigate (straight pipe before and after) some turbulence for a more accurate reading. Gap left for the Aquaero 6 mounting position - to allow for cool air to pass around it and heat-sink. Mounted light-box and first rough wiring and lighting tests.
Etched the crew names and the directive into the front glass. The position and layout are so when you approach and look in, MU-TH-UR 6000 is visible next to Ash (the androids) name. Etched “Bring back life form. Priority one. All other priorities rescinded...” into the lower part of the glass.
Equipment stand drawer number (1) is lined with a polyethylene container capable of holding three times the liquid volume of the loop. Image of one of the (left) drains that discharge into the tub. Drawer (2) houses waterproof containers full of spare parts and fittings.
